Fresh fish

We ate live seafood caught fresh. (Well we cooked the fish in the background, but the clam was just chopped up and served with lemon)

David and Megan Statues

They came into the house and said "Dad there are more statues out on the porch" and when I got out there to see this is what I saw.

My Bees!

This is my first set of bees. I have had a lot of fun getting to know how to take care of bees and get honey.

Straining honey

This gets all the little pieces of wax and things out of the honey. I wish the strainers were a different color. It looks like i just got done hunting or somthing.

Bottling Plant

Here at the bottling plant (our kitchen) we get the honey into the honey bottles.

Live and Learn

This was a "faucet" type system I made. It took about 20 min to fill each bottle. My next one that I made will come in handy next year. It has a much larger "honey gate" on it. It should cut 19 or more minutes off the fill time (per bottle)

Our Honey

The reward of a year of learning to do honey! Megan was a great help. For hours and hours she stuck by me helping with the honey. It was long and tedious but we did it.
